The series will consist of seven episodes and will also star previously announced actors Jason Bateman (Ozark) and David Harbour (Stranger Things), who are also on board as executive producers.
Conrad (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty) will also serve as writer, director, showrunner and executive producer.
Cardellini can be seen next in Netflix’s forthcoming dark comedy No Good Deed (which releases all eight episodes on Thursday, Dec. 12), alongside Ray Romano, Lisa Kudrow, Denis Leary and Luke Wilson. That series will reunite her with Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman.
On the film side of things, she also recently wrapped Way of the Warrior Kid opposite Chris Pratt for Apple, and can currently be seen in Hulu’s holiday film Nutcrackers with Ben Stiller.
