The news came during halftime in Munich, where the New York Giants took on the Carolina Panthers, with the southern team clinching the win by three points, 20 to 17.
Lil Wayne's first episode is slated for Sunday, Nov. 17, though it's not the musician's first foray into the sporting world. The mega Green Bay Packers fan has regularly contributed to Fox Sports 1’s Undisputed, joining Skip Bayless as a frequent guest contributor, per the publication. He also sings the series' theme song, “Good Morning.”
In a video shared alongside a follow-up announcement made by the network on Instagram, the artist stormed the field alongside his beloved team, looking overjoyed to be surrounded by his favorite players.
You can catch Lil Wayne and all his Game Day takes beginning this coming Sunday at 9 a.m. ET on NFL Network, where he'll join series regulars Ian Rapoport, Cynthia Frelund, Colleen Wolfe, Mike Garafolo, Tom Pelissero, Daniel Jeremiah and Kyle Brandt.
Maybe next season, we can see the sporting superfan join Jason Kelce on Monday Night Countdown.
