Rapper Famous Dex caught on camera beating girlfriend

Rapper Famous Dex appears to be ‘beating his girlfriend’ in a shocking new video which emerged earlier this week.

Singer Tish Hyman posted the clip of the alarming surveillance footage to her Instagram, which allegedly shows Dex chasing a woman down the hallway and then hitting her repeatedly while she is on the floor.

The fight is interrupted by a man, who appears to separate the two, and then follows Dex back down the hallway.

According to Tish, Dex broke into and trashed the apartment she was previously renting to him after committing the assault.

"Let this man #famousdex @famousdex stay at my place. He not only TRASHED And BROKE INTO my place,” she captioned on the video.

"He beat this poor girl so badly. Is this the new generation of great artists that young people are looking up to?"

Dex, who is based in Chicago, later took to Twitter to defend his actions, claiming his girlfriend had cheated on him, but then later deleted the tweets.

"Me an my Girl Ok Y'all S**t Happen I'm Not Perfect Bt it's God Know that Problem Gone Now (sic)," he wrote in tweets which have since been deleted.

"God Know Im Sorry For Fight She wasn't Hurt my I Cut My Hand Like Wtf Im Not Like That She Cheated on me an She Was Wrong God Know (sic)."

Tish also fired back at those who claimed she “snitched on the rapper.”

“Snitch? This is exactly what’s wrong with you ****. Reporting an injustice is not snitching. It’s justice,” she tweeted.
