Can you spot the mistake in this Sudoku puzzle?

An image of a Sudoku puzzle book has gone viral after a very keen-eyed person found a mistake on the cover and shared it with the world for some laughs

Reddit user Wherearemyflapjacks spotted a very obvious mistake on the 'Big 360 hardback Sudoku puzzle book' cover and posted it to Imgur.

Can you see anything wrong with the image?

It shows someone’s hand scribing in the missing numbers to the puzzle but if you know the rules of Sudoku, you should notice something fundamentally wrong with their answers.

The Japanese brainteaser requires you to fill in all the squares using numbers one to nine without repeating or omitting any number.

So, if you take a closer look at the image again (below), can you see anything wrong with the person’s answer now?

They can be seen repeating the number five in the same grid!

Despite Sudoku being a number game, you need little math skills, just a good understanding of the logic of the game.

However, this hand model is clearly not leading by example.

The image has since been viewed almost two million times, with people baffled by the blatant mistake.
