Ali and Andrew were college sweethearts. They dated for seven years but broke up two years ago. Glamour got the former partners to talk face-to-face about their relationship.

In part one of the two part series, Ali confronts Andrew about his infidelity. "Why did I? I think it's because I was interested in other options," he admits.

He comes clean, she cries, and he cries a little too. But it's not all so intense: the pair reminisce about the first time they saw each other; what they cherished about their time together, and what went wrong.

"I wouldn't be the person I am today and we wouldn't have the relationship that we do now if it were any different," she says. "'Cause we loved each other, we were so in love with each other. You know, I wanted to marry you! I don't think I ever want to do that again. This is really heavy sh**! But it's a really scary and horrible place to be in."

For part two, Andrew continues to be brutally honest. When Ali asks him what he would warn a boyfriend about her, he says, "When you drink, you can say some really mean things and be irrational." She also has an irritating baby voice and she's flaky.

She aired her complaints as well saying he's cocky and stubborn. Andrew takes blame for the relationship falling apart, Ali sheds more tears, and they rehash a lot of old problems.

Will they every get back together? That's a good question -- but one for part three.
