Liam Payne calls risqué new clip 'basically soft porn'

While Liam Payne first found fame as a squeaky clean member of One Direction, the star has crafted an increasingly risqué image since going solo two years ago.

Now, this new look appears to have reached its crescendo following the release of a steamy new underwear campaign with Hugo Boss.

In a series of snaps posted to the 26-year-old’s Instagram account, he’s shown laying beneath Victoria’s Secret angel Stella Maxwell as the pair wear nothing but the brand’s trademark underwear.

Another clip shows the genetically-blessed duo entwined in each other’s arms as Liam’s bare torso is put on full display.

However, despite his on-camera confidence, the star was well aware the campaign is far from his background as a boyband member and called the shoot “basically soft-core porn”.

“It just ended up being a lot more naked than I thought it was…I mean it was just a room full of five or six people and a hell of a lot of tequila to get me to this level,” he told British GQ.

But despite fans’ likely delight with the steamy nature of the shoot, Liam’s mum had other opinions and ‘wasn't best pleased’.

"There's this really raunchy shot of me and Stella, and I showed my mum. She took one look at it and gave me a clip round the ear,” he joked.

“All I was thinking was, 'I better not tell her about the London buses!'"
