Lewis Tan Joins 20th Century’s Buddy Action Comedy Feature ‘Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice’

EXCLUSIVE: Actor and martial artist Lewis Tan (Mortal Kombat, Deadpool & Wolverine) has joined the ensemble cast in the 20th Century feature Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice, a buddy action comedy set in the criminal underworld from writer and director BenDavid Grabinski.

He joins Vince Vaughn, James Marsden, Eiza Gonzalez, Jimmy Tatro and Arturo Castro. Character names and descriptions nor the film’s plot has been revealed.

Tan most recently starred as Rusy/Shatterstar in the hit Marvel Studios summer film Deadpool & Wolverine opposite Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. He originally brought the character to life in Deadpool 2, released in 2018. Tan was cast by Forest Whitaker to play the lead in the indie drama Sacrifice, marking the start of his film career. Up next, Tan will star in Mortal Kombat 2 reprising the role of Cole Young from the first film released in 2021.

On the TV side, he played “Tolya Yul-Bataar” in Season 2 Shadow and Bone and “Lu Xin Lee” in Wu Assassins, both series from Netflix. Additionally, Tan starred in the AMC series Into the Badlands‘ third season in the role of “Gaius Chau” and appeared in Netflix’s Iron First as “Zhou Cheng.”

Tan, who is Chinese and English, focuses on being a strong voice in the Asian American media as an advocate for diversity and original storytelling.

He is repped by Gersh, Luber Roklin and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.
