In daily interactions, members of the Latine community often face microaggressions aimed at their identity, heritage, and socioeconomic and immigration status.

Unsolicited comments that reduce the Latine community's identity to stereotypical or clichéd prejudices can have harmful effects and are hurtful to the individual and the community.

We want to hear your stories involving microaggressions. For example, maybe you revealed your racial background to a coworker and they said, "But you speak English so well!"

Or even if you were born in America, they could've said, "But where are you really from?"

Maybe you were chatting with someone you just met, and they said, "But you don't look Latina."

Or maybe someone asked for your help translating a document from Spanish to English, but they didn't even ask if you spoke Spanish...
