Lala Kent Recalls Moment Taylor Swift Visited Travis Kelce on Set of “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?”

"They were gonna have lunch together," Kent said of Swift being in Kelce's trailer on the set of the Prime Video game show, which the NFL star hosts

Travis Kelce had a very special visitor while he was filming Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?.

Speaking on a bonus episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, released on Monday, Nov. 4, the Vanderpump Rules star, 34, opened up about appearing as a celebrity contestant on the show hosted by Kelce, 35, and recalled how his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, visited him on set.

“Taylor Swift was in Travis Kelce's trailer,” Kent said as her co-host and assistant, Jessica Walter, chimed in, “Which was parallel to Lala’s, and I'm talking, like, 10 feet away, you guys … And I see a giant black SUV, and then we start hearing whispers on set. Like, what is that black SUV doing? It was our girl Taylor Swift in Travis' trailer just visiting."

“Yep. Just visiting,” Kent noted. “They were gonna have lunch together.”

“And probably sex,” Walter added.

“Yeah. And probably sex. Probably. Good for them,” Kent continued.

The reality TV star then offered up “a little tea” about what Kelce was like on set and shared some insight into a gentlemanly moment from the NFL star when they were taking a group picture with Kent’s fellow celebrity contestants Ron Funches, Nicole Byer, Sophia Stallone and Ryan Fitzpatrick.

“Travis, I'm next to him, and I'm pregnant, but he did not, I believe, had two girls on each of his sides, and when he put his arms around us, he did not touch,” Kent said, adding that Kelce decided to “hover” and she thought the move was “very, very sweet.”

“Sweet, respectful,” Kent continued. “So there's my little bit more of behind the scenes, but it was one of the most fun times I've ever had. It was nothing but lightheartedness and giggles. And for the first time ever, I was in a school setting where I was not  s----ing bricks.”

The mom of two also praised the Kansas City Chiefs tight end for his hosting abilities.

“He was absolutely hysterical, even without a teleprompter,” she said. “You can just tell when people are actually really fun and funny, and I think you can kind of tell in his relationship with T Swift, like, they just look like they're having fun. Right?”

On the second episode of the Prime Video show, comedian Nikki Glaser had roasted Kelce over his love life.

After a contestant chose Glaser, 40, from the panel of celebrities to help, she jokingly asked the contestant, "Do you have any motivational speech for Travis? Cause his life is, like, not going great.”

Glaser then listed "his career" and "his love life" and added, "I think he just needs [some motivation]."

"I find motivation in everything," Kelce replied.

The NFL star confirmed he had been tapped to host the game show spinoff in April 2023.

“I grew up loving game shows, and I’m excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with Are you Smarter than a Celebrity?," he said in a statement at the time, adding, "I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up," he joked.

Kelce and Swift, 34, sparked romance rumors in September 2023 after the pop superstar attended one of Kelce’s games at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Miss. The two then confirmed their relationship the following month when they stepped out holding hands at a Saturday Night Live afterparty.
