Kylie Minogue is single again

Aussie singer Kylie Minogue, 45, is single again after splitting with her boyfriend of five years, 35-year-old Spanish model Andres Velencoso.

Minogue's representative confirmed the news to the London Sun, telling the newspaper the breakup was 'amicable'.

An insider told The Sun on Sunday that the Minogue and Velencoso's relationship was strained due to busy work schedules and the long distance between them.

The source explained:

"Kylie and Andres haven’t been spending much time together because she’s been holed up in the studio in LA working on her new album.

"When she signed up for The Voice they knew they couldn’t cope with the long distance pressures the job would put on them."

The former couple met in 2008 on the set of an advert for her perfume line, and Minogue gushed about her beau in 2010: "I have had boyfriends who have stressed me out and he doesn't.

He is easy going, funny, loving and really supportive."

A friend of Minogue's said the 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' singer is 'devastated' over the split, adding:

"This is a big blow for her."
