Kylie Kelce Hates Nicknames, but There’s One Jason Is Allowed to Use
Kylie Kelce has a strong opinion on some common nicknames that partners tend to call one another—and she's not shying away from expressing her disdain for the collection of pet names.
During a recent sit-down with hosting duo Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal for comedy YouTube series Good Mythical Morning, the soon-to-be mom of four—who is currently expecting another child—and her NFL retiree husband, Jason Kelce, were asked about names they call each other.

"Kylie hates pet names or nicknames," Jason told the pair.
"So you only call her Kylie?" Neal inquired, genuinely perplexed at the admission.
In response, the couple surprisingly shared that Jason is only "allowed" to use one nickname in lieu of his wife's actual name: Joe.
"I call her Joe," the pro athlete said, further explaining the backstory of where the nickname originated. "Because when she played field hockey, she reminded me of like a baby kangaroo, the way she was like squatted down. So I called her Joey; narrowed it down to Joe. That's my only nickname."
One host commented on the "loophole," as Neal asked Kylie, "And you're okay with that one?"
"Yeah, that one's fine," she confirmed, to which the host responded, "But has he tried other ones? Sweetie? Snookums?"
"Oh, Sweetie he's not allowed to say," she exclaimed, as her eyes got wide.
Among the other frequently-used names Kylie forbids, which couples may generally find endearing, are babe, baby, hun, and honey.
"You can only be called those things by like, a waitress in a diner in South Philly," she explained of her hometown, adding that the pet names can take on a somewhat negative, "sharp" connotation otherwise. "It just feels aggressive."
But, of course, fans who keep up with the family's updates—or simply the New Heights sports podcast—know that she has also been lovingly dubbed and referred to as Princess Kyana (a play on the late Princess Diana's moniker) by the former Philadelphia Eagles center and his co-host brother, Travis Kelce.
