'You're stealing her youth': Kylie Jenner slammed for Stormi's Halloween costume

Kylie Jenner has copped a fair bit of flack on social media after she dressed her baby daughter Stormi Webster up in a recreation of her 2019 Met Gala look for Halloween.

The 22-year-old mum shared pictures and video of her one and a half year old, who wore a floor-length gown, which was a dead ringer to the semi-sheer Versace gown her mother famously wore on the red carpet.

Stormi’s lookalike costume featured the same feathery sleeves, mesh bodysuit and co-ordinating glittery handbag as her mum’s original outfit.

Not to do things by halves, Jenner also added a long, grey-lilac wig to the little one’s look, to match her mum’s hair at the Met Gala.

There’s no verdict yet on whether Stormi’s look is made by Versace, as her mother’s was – but we certainly wouldn’t be surprised.

It was posted to Kylie Jenner’s official Instagram account, which boasts a staggering 149 million followers.

While many followers were big fans of the look, saying the little girl looks “so adorable,” others slammed the reality start for being ”vain” and saying Stormi probably wanted to dress “as a princess” instead.

Oner person simply said: “That poor girl”, while another follower said: “You can tell how uncomfortable she is and wants to cry...she is a child and that’s what she should be. You are stealing her youth.”

The backlash hasn’t seemed to phase Kylie Jenner, with the beauty mogul uploading an adorable video of Stormi today trying to shoot a basketball through a hoop.

We’re sure this isn’t the first Halloween costume we’re going to see Stormi in this festive season.
