Inside Kyle Sandilands’ lavish 50th birthday yacht party

Kyle Sandilands has celebrated his milestone 50th birthday with a lavish, celebrity-filled party on a $3000-per-hour super yacht in Sydney Harbour.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the dress code for the festivities was to “add a touch of gold.”

The radio shock jock arrived with girlfriend Tegan Kynaston via a speedboat wearing a suit, shades and bright red and gold scarf, while Tegan wore a shimmering gold sequinned mini dress.

His radio co-host Jackie O Henderson looked similarly stunning in a black and gold blazer dress.

Other guests included The Voice Australia coach Guy Sebastian, former NRL player turned Amazing Race host Beau Ryan, Samantha Jade, boxing legend Jeff Fenech and TV executive Michael Pell, news.com.au reports.

Kyle's radio rival Ben Fordham is also said to have attended the party.

Photos of the event were soon shared on social media, with the Kyle and Jackie O Show Instagram page captioning a shot of Kyle and Jackie O together with, “Mum and Dad at Kyle’s 50th".

The yacht was decorated with hundreds of black and gold balloons, with another photo showing Kyle's three-tiered black and gold birthday cake - complete with crown.

The words “King Kyle” were visible on the front of the cake, which was the same name written on the side of the yacht, other photos revealed.

The party continued on with plenty of the guests, including a few newcomers, making their way to Kyle's Edgecliffe Rd mansion on Saturday night.

Kyle's birthday celebrations come after he was forced to defend himself for cutting a vaccine queue earlier in the week.

He was called out online for cutting in front of a 120-person queue in order to get his first COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday night.

But he defended his line-skipping skills at Westmead Hospital in Western Sydney, saying he was simply using his 'celebrity privilege' to get VIP treatment.

In true Kyle style, however, it appears as though the controversial personality is living up to his reputation and simply stirring the pot.

His management team confirmed he hadn't physically pushed in in a statement to Daily Mail, which was corroborated by the Reddit user in later comments.

They wrote that they weren't upset that Kyle had jumped the queue but rather amused by the fanfare surrounding the radio star's arrival.
