Kyle Sandilands is getting his own TV show
He’s known for raising eyebrows with his controversial comments on his KIIS FM breakfast radio show, that he co-hosts with Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
But now Kyle Sandilands has reportedly scored himself a TV gig that is set to be like American court drama, Judge Judy.
According to the Daily Mail Australia the 46-year-old is taking the hot seat of the new Channel Ten as members of the public and celebrities will “step into his court” to seek advice on their issues.
“Kyle takes no crap and was top of Ten’s list when it came to finding someone to front the show,” an insider told the publication.
“They’ll be no mercy spared in Kyle’s court and order will be served no matter what.”
But while the prospect is undoubtedly exciting — just imagine the shock jock in a wig — Kyle’s reps are remaining tight lipped on whether it’s true.
“We’re always looking at new TV ideas and talking to the networks,” a spokesperson for Kyle said. “At this stage we have not signed any new deals.”
The rumours come just days after the shock jock had a nasty surprise of his own, when he was urged to go to the emergency room after revealing a strange symptom on air.
“The vibrating leg is a symptom of a blood clot,” a caller told him. “You need to get that checked out as soon…”
But before she could finish, Kyle cut her off.
“I’ll worry about it later,” he said during the on-air exchange yesterday.
The caller then told him he could potentially lose his leg or have the blood clot travel to his lung, however, Kyle was more concerned about waiting in the emergency room.
Oh dear, we’re hoping the whispers surronding his dramatic new show are a sign he’s in full health.
