Kristen Stewart unrecognisable as Princess Diana in new film
Kristen Stewart is almost unrecognisable in her role as Princess Diana, as a new image is released for Pablo Larraín’s film Spencer, which has entered the final stretches of filming.
The Twilight star is playing Diana Spencer in the film, described as 'a poetic internal imagining', which focuses on one weekend at Christmas in Sandringham, where Princess Diana reportedly decides to divorce Prince Charles.
Set in 1991, the film sees Charles (played by Jack Farthing) and Diana spending a weekend at Sandringham over the Christmas period after their relationship had already fallen apart.
The film had been shooting in Europe, but has now moved to the UK as the production nears its end.

Prince Harry and Prince William's bond will 'never be the same'
Kristen recently told Jimmy Kimmel that, although she didn’t grow up with Diana as a prominent figure in her life, she still has an affinity for the woman known as the ‘People’s Princess’.
“I was really young when she passed away,” said the 30-year-old actress.
“I remember the flowers. I remember being like: 'What are all of those? I've never seen so many in one place.'
“I was really young and didn't really know what was going on, but now it's hard not to feel protective of her. She was so young."
First look at Diana film sends fans wild
Fans were left gobsmacked in January after the first official photo of Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana was revealed.
Many took to Twitter to gush over Kristen’s portrayal of the tragic royal, who lost her life in 1997 after a car accident in Paris.
“She looks incredible,” one person commented.
“That really took me a second, to see that was Kristen Stewart in the photo and not Diana,” another said.
“Absolutely unrecognisable,” a commenter wrote, while another said: “Omg I actually thought it was Diana in this pic.”
Kristen is the latest actress to take on the role of Diana, many of whom have not found critical favour after trying to portray the royal.
Emma Corrin did win good reviews as she became Diana in season four of Netflix’s The Crown, and those who preceded her included Naomi Watts, who was the title role in 2013’s Diana.
Here's the official synopsis for Spencer which is aiming for release in 2021: 'December, 1991: The Prince and Princess of Wales’ marriage has long since grown cold. Though rumours of affairs and a divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at Sandringham Estate. There's eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. This year, things will be a whole lot different.'
