Justine Lupe via Instagram StoriesLupe will never forget the moment she revealed to costar Kristen Bell that she was expecting her first baby. As a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show alongside her castmates in October 2024, the new mom recalled the exact moment she told Bell she was pregnant.
"I told Kristen first," Lupe shared. "I still remember she had invited me over to her house to work out together, which is LOL for a pregnant woman."
"I told her that I was pregnant," she continues, "she was in a sheet mask, and I still remember her just freaking out and running around with this mask on her face."

Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard and their kidsAfter learning the exciting news, Bell, who shares two children with her husband Dax Shepard, lent her costar some advice on what it's like being a mother.
"It's the most important thing, it's the only thing — you can go anywhere in the world, you can have anything on your bucket list, but you're about to go on the most special endeavor," Lupe recalls Bell telling her.
"Honestly, it was the best," she added, admitting, "It can be a nerve-racking thing to tell people, especially in this industry as a woman."
"So, to have a set that was filled with such support and have her [Kristen Bell] as our fearless leader and Erin [Foster, the show's creator] as well being pregnant, I felt really comfortable and happy and excited about being pregnant on set, which is a luxury."
