Kristen Bell Hilariously Struggles to Sit Down in Her Stiff Corset at the Golden Globes 2025: See the Moment!
Jackie Tohn shared a relatable video of her ‘Nobody Wants This’ costar trying to sit in her glittering Ashi Studio look
Kristen Bell stepped out for the 2025 Golden Globes looking like a gilded statue — and perhaps felt like one too!
On Jan. 5, the Nobody Wants This star, 44, brought her fashion A-game to one of Hollywood’s biggest nights.
Bell — who was nominated for best performance by a female actor in a musical or comedy television series for the hit Netflix show — wore a gold sequin two-piece look by Ashi Studio.
While the metallic design looked picture-perfect on the red carpet, a hilarious video posted by actress Jackie Tohn on Instagram Stories revealed that the dress got in the way of one thing — Bell being able to sit.

In the candid clip, Bell can be seen struggling to pop a squat seemingly because of the waist-cinching structure of her strapless corset bustier.
“Sit down, get comfortable,” Tohn says in the background to a standing Bell who says she “can’t."
The Gossip Girl alum manages to get herself seated, but leaning at an angle. She flashes the camera a thumbs up and a wink.
“Too pretty to sit,” Tohn captioned the clip.

Bell returned to the Globes with husband Dax Shepard, who wore a black suit and tie, sunglasses and checkered Van slip-on sneakers.
Despite all the star power at the Beverly Hilton, the Armchair Expert podcaster, 50, was focused on something else — the Detroit Lions football game.
Bell exposed her man on her Instagram Stories later on in the night, posting a clip of Shepard discreetly watching the match on his phone during the show, hosted by Nikki Glaser.
She simply wrote “#priorities” over the video.

The couple, who have been married since 2013 and share daughters Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9, is no stranger to the Globes.
They attended in 2013 when Bell was pregnant with her first daughter. She glammed up her bump in a lilac silk-chiffon empire dress with an embellished top. In 2019, the year Bell was nominated for best performance by an actress in a musical or comedy television series for The Good Place, they again stepped out in sophisticated date night looks.
