Krispy Kreme Just Brought Back a Fan-Favorite Fall Doughnut
It's joining the chain's Golden Harvest collection for just three days.
Just a few short days ago, Krispy Kreme unveiled its new fall lineup of doughnuts with the Golden Harvest collection. And somehow, this wasn't enough for the doughnut brand. Now, it's taking Pumpkin Spice Season to the "next level" by bringing back its Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnut. But, there is one massive catch.
"People love our Pumpkin Spice Latte and Cake doughnut, but Pumpkin Spice Season is not complete without the incredible Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnut," Dave Skena, the global chief brand officer of Krispy Kreme, shared. Which is why it's bringing it back just for this weekend, from Friday through Sunday, September 20–22 — the official start of fall. "These are the only three days our famous PSOG will be offered, so visit Krispy Kreme this weekend for the ultimate pumpkin spice experience," Skena added.
The Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnuts are available by the dozen or as individual treats both in-shop and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme's app and website. And to make the weekend even better, Krispy Kreme customers can also get an Original Glazed dozen for $2 with the purchase of any dozen at regular price at participating shops (limited to two per customer in-shop and limited to one online — for pickup or delivery — via Krispy Kreme's app using promo code "BOGO2.”)
And, if you happen to be in New York City this weekend, you can snag Krispy Kreme’s Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnuts at ChainFEST — a food festival celebrating fast-casual cuisine —happening on Randall’s Island Park.
You could also choose to double down on fall by getting one of those Golden Harvest collection donuts, which includes the Maple Buttercreme Doughnut topped with maple-flavored buttercreme and fall sprinkles, the Oatmeal Kreme Pie Doughnut with white Kreme filling and dipped in cookie dough icing, and the Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut, topped with cream cheese buttercreme and dulce de leche flavored filling.
