Dylan Efron Opened Up About His Low-Key Relationship With His Girlfriend

In other words, hi, we're obsessed with The Traitors Season 3 and are here to talk about Dylan Efron. You know, Zac Efron's brother? Whose chyron on the show is, simply, "down to earth?" Him:

If you've watched The Traitors, you know Dylan kicked things off with extreme underdog energy. Just, wandering around the castle in his Rory Gilmore-core white cable knit sweater, fan-boying over cast members from Survivor. But as the show's progressed, Dylan has become one of the only Faithfuls who's putting the pieces of the Traitors' devious puzzle together.

So, what do you need to know about Dylan? Let's get into some important facts.

He's Super Close to Zac Efron

Dylan actually has three siblings: Zac "We're All in This Together" Efron, a little brother named Henry, and a little sister named Olivia. They're all super close, though Zac and Dylan are especially tight due to being just a few years apart. Dylan even worked as a producer on the docuseries Down to Earth with Zac Efron.

His Name Isn't Actually Dylan

It's Nicholas Dylan Harrison Efron. He explained why he goes by Dylan to brobible, saying "I’ve always gone by Dylan. My mom was a big hippie and loved Bob Dylan, so that’s where it came from."

He's a Former Iron Man

As Dylan informed us on The Traitors, he rock climbs, he free dives, and he "plays every sport." He also told Just Jared that once upon a time "I crashed my bike riding home from work. I fractured three ribs, three transverse processes (vertebrae) and my tailbone–I raced a half Ironman one month after."

Oh, and he told the outlet that he "rarely" wears deodorant during the same interview. Something to think about.

He Has a Huge Social Media Presence

On top of having a popular YouTube channel where he's "making memories, learning, and humbling myself outdoors"...

And showing up in a few episodes of Off the Grid with his brother...

He Worked on A Star Is Born with Bradley Cooper

"I love producing things," Dylan told Just Jared. "I was a coordinator on A Star Is Born with Bradley Cooper, I also was a producer on Netflix’s Down To Earth and Off The Grid. Flow State is a dream project, as it combines my love for creating shows and trying crazy new experiences with close friends."

He Has a Girlfriend and Keeps Their Relationship Very Low-Key

For those curious, Dylan is off the market. He subtly referred to his girlfriend during his interview with Cosmopolitan when he revealed his real thoughts on fellow Faithful Tom Sandoval. “I was like, ‘Oh, I think I listened to a Nick Viall podcast with you,’” he said. “I told my girlfriend I said that and she was like, ‘That wasn’t the podcast you should have said. It wasn’t his best moment.’”

And, speaking of The Viall Files, Dylan appeared on the pod and talked about his low-key relationship. “I’m in a relationship,” he said. “It’s cool because she’s actually not on social media and she works a 40-hour week job.”

He added that they met in his hometown when they were growing up. “We’re from the same town,” he explained. “It works out really well. It’s not, like, I’m hiding her from the world or anything. She understands the job, all the stuff. She doesn’t really like being on camera. She loves your guys’ podcast. I wouldn’t know about it [without her]. She’s the one who introduced me.”

While Traitors was airing, there was some fan account claims that Dylan is in a relationship.

Zac Predicted He'll Win The Traitors

“I think he’s going to win,” the High School Musical star mused in June. “He’s really good at games, and I just have a good feeling about it. He is just the best at games. Growing up, he was a first roll Yatzi kind of dude. If I was him, I would move to Vegas and just play games. He’s that good, so I got high hopes for him.”
