Savvy shoppers have hit gold with a pretty pastel-coloured jumpsuit from Kmart’s latest summer range - just don’t go looking for it in the regular clothing section.

Instead, a few keen-eyed Kmart fans unearthed the $20 gem in the discount retailer’s ‘Sleepwear’ section among more traditional PJ tops, pants and nighties.

Several have taken to Facebook to share photos of how they’ve made the strappy wide-legged style go from bedroom to every day, with many cinching the waist with a thin belt, popping on some tan heels and adding a clutch.

The quick and easy transformation has left others stunned - and keen to nab a jumpsuit of their own.

“Game changer. Genius,” praised a fan in the comments section.

“Get in my closet now!” added another.

Others couldn’t quite get over the fact that the item is technically for wearing to bed.

“This surely isn't PJs lol” remarked one.

“Sleepwear?? Maybe put in the wrong section or?” questioned another.

“I thought this was too nice for sleepwear. I want to wear it everywhere,” said one.

“Oh wow, they look awesome. Would never pick them as PJs though,” said another

One observant Facebooker pointed out a detail that suggests that jumpsuit is, in fact, intended to be worn day to night.

“Why would jammies have side pockets? They are way too nice and practical to only wear to bed,” they observed.

The ‘comfortable’ jumpsuit is also a hit with new mums and women living with health conditions such as endometriosis and adenomyosis which often cause the lower tummy area to be tender, painful and bloated.

“Just what I need after my c-section on Monday and the lovely baby belly aftermath of it. I so want one!!!” commented one new mum.

“Awsome shall keep my eye open.......post baby tummy,” said another.

“Yay for allowing for the Adeno and Endo belly. I hate not being able to find clothing that doesn't feel tight during a flare up,” one wrote.

“Do the straps come down easy so you can breastfeed? Looks great!” inquired another.

“Yes! There’s elastic across the back,” was the reply.

In terms of sizing, the jumpsuit comes in sizes 6 to 24 but one shopper recommends going up a size due to the viscose fabric.

“It isn’t stretchy material so I went up a size so it was a little loose and flowy,” they advised.

As well as ‘Abstract floral’, the popular all-in-one comes in a print called ‘Spots,’ a navy background with large white spots which is set to fly off shelves, too.

“So awesome - I’m going back to get the navy polka dot as well - Kmart nails it again!!” wrote one.
