It's 21 October, which means Kim Kardashian is officially 44. Happy birthday, Kim! The reality star/aspiring lawyer/SKIMS founder/actor (wow, she's really doing it all) hopped on Instagram Stories early in the morning of her birthday to drop a sneak peek at her look. But it's safe to say the snap sparked a lot of questions...
Standing in front of her mirror, Kim can be seen wearing a figure-hugging, skintight design in an iridescent fabric in a nude colourway. And somehow, the shimmery naked illusion dress also appears to be a body suit? With a seriously plunging neckline, the bodice is cut in a high-leg leotard silhouette, with exposed seams overlaying the subtly see-through skirt of the design. The gusset of the leotard then seems to continue, despite the flowing fabric around it.
Yep... So. Many. Questions.
Kim accessorised the head-scratching dress with an oversized diamond cross pendant necklace, as well as adding a blingy diamond cocktail ring to her pinky finger.

The gown appears to be from Diesel and is currently on sale for £1,145 — you know, on the off chance you have a spare thousand lying around and want to channel Kim's birthday vibes.
FYI, Kim stepped out at the Academy Museum Gala ahead of her birthday (along with her sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner) wearing a vintage Mugler corset paired with somewhat divisive nude tights. She wore a floor-sweeping white robe-style coat over the top of the lingerie look, the hooded design slipping off her shoulders.
See-through perspex heels on her feet and the sparkliest diamond necklace and matching earrings completed the 'fit.
