Kim Kardashian's surrogate is in labour

Another little Kardashian West is on the way, with reports Kim and Kanye’s surrogate has gone into labour.

The news was broken by none other than Kim’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian, who appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to surprise their mum, Kris Jenner, with an appearance by six of her grandchildren.

“So, my mom doesn’t even know this, but Kim’s surrogate went into labor, so she’s at the hospital,” the 40-year-old said, with Kris looking visibly shocked.

“What! What are we doing here?!” the 63-year-old momager said in a flurry of excitement.

When Ellen asked Kourtney if anybody else knows about the labour, Kourtney responded: “No”.

The couple are said to currently be at the hospital awaiting the arrival of their fourth child, a baby boy.

The Wests confirmed back in January that they were expecting their fourth child.

According to TMZ, the couple are using a different surrogate to the woman who gave birth to their one-year-old daughter, Chicago, because she was unavailable at the time.

It’s reported that Kim and Kanye used their last embryo for this pregnancy, so the baby boy could be the last child they add to their brood.

Kim and Kanye turned to surrogacy after Kim suffered health issues in her previous pregnancies including preeclampsia and placenta accreta.

However, Kim previously revealed on Keeping Up With The Kardashians that Kanye ‘wants to have more.

“He’s been harassing me. He wants like seven. He’s like stuck on seven,” Kim said.

“I’ve been kinda hesitant about having more kids because it literally keeps me up at night, thinking about how my kids will survive in a crazy world like this.”

But Kim previously revealed her dream is to have four children, telling E! News: “I don’t think I could handle more than that.”

Kim had daughter North, five, and son Saint, three, through natural birth before the couple's third child Chicago, 15 months, was born via surrogate in January 2018.
