Kim Kardashian Raises Eyebrows With Bold Declaration About Raising Kids 'By Myself'

Kim Kardashian is getting brutally honest about the realities of parenting.

The 44-year-old TV personality recently sat down for an interview with her friend Zoe Winkler on the iHeartRadio What in the Winkler! podcast, where she opened up about raising her four kids as a divorced mom.

The reality star, who was famously married to Kanye West for six years, shares daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6, and sons Saint, 8, and Psalm, 5, with the Yeezus rapper.

However, during the Nov. 12 podcast episode, Kardashian hinted at frequently being on her own when it comes to parenting.

"I think you and I've mostly connected on parenting...And judgment, and feeling like sometimes you're in this alone, even though we have great support systems and we have people around us," Kardashian told Winkler.

"But sometimes when they're all sleeping in your bed kicking you and crying and waking up—it’s not something that I talk about a lot because I feel like there is always a lot of judgment or people always will jump to the, ‘Oh, but you have the resources to have nannies and to have help,’" the SKIMS founder continued, "And I just think that no matter what kind of help I have, [I'm] basically raising four kids by myself."

Kardashian didn't make any explicit statements about West in the interview, nor did she divulge any information about how involved he is in their children's lives, but we know it hasn't been smooth sailing for the former spouses when it comes to co-parenting.

West, 47, previously made headlines for publicly calling out Kardashian on social media back in 2022, claiming at the time that she was purposely keeping him from seeing their younger daughter on her birthday.

Earlier this year, he also contacted his ex-wife via social media to demand that she take their children out of their school in Los Angeles, arguing that it was a "fake school for celebrities that are used by 'the system.'"

"I was removed from my dad by the system and the system removed me from my children," he said at the time, adding, "My two oldest know [who] they daddy is."

West and his new wife, Bianca Censori, have been seen on occasion with some of his kids in tow, mostly on outings with his and Kardashian's eldest, North. But according to the Daily Mail, West hasn't been seen with his kids in 57 days, as he is currently traveling in Japan with Censori.

Still, fans were quick to critique the reality star's latest comments, with one X (formerly Twitter) user noting, "By herself with lots of hired help.."

"Alone with 11 nannies and a house full of staff," another mocked.

One more was eager to point out how West doesn't seem to be "around very much" joking that "[the] dude lives in Tokyo."
