Kim and Kendall mocked in cringeworthy moment on stage at the Emmys

They’re part of arguably the biggest reality TV family in the world so it makes sense that Kim Kardashian was invited alongside her sister, Kendall Jenner, to present the Outstanding Reality TV series gong at the Emmys.

However, things didn’t exactly go as planned for the controversial sisters, as they were laughed at by the A-list crowd during their monologue on stage.

The sisters initially looked delighted when they were introduced onstage but once they began to read out their scripted piece to camera, things got very awkward indeed.

“Our family knows first-hand how truly compelling television comes from real people just being themselves,” Kim said into the microphone.

Kendall continued her sentence, saying: “Telling their stories, unfiltered and unscripted."

The crowd was then heard in the background belly laughing at the pair, who are often accused of faking some of the storylines in Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Kim, wearing Vivian Westwood, carried on seemingly oblivious to the rumble of laughter at her expense.

However, Kendall, who stunned earlier on the red carpet in a Richard Quinn black latex dress, could be seen looking confused at the reaction, looking up from the microphone and seeming a bit confused.

Despite this, the sisters continued on with their monologue until announcing RuPaul's Drag Race as the winner of the category.

Earlier in the day, Kim told Giuliana Rancic on E! News’ Live From the Red Carpet, that she loves the simple life with her husband, Kanye West, in Wyoming.

"It's just so chill you can just do absolutely nothing. I bring no makeup and just my sweats and hang out," she said.
