Kim Kardashian's bold jab at Kanye West over daughter North's TikTok
Former couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are knee-deep in a social media scuffle over their parenting choices.
The "Gold Digger" rapper, 44, has publically criticised his soon-to-be ex-wife, 41, for letting their eldest child, North West, have a TikTok account.
North, who turns 9 in June, boasts 5.5 million followers on the popular video-sharing platform which her mother Kim claims to 'supervise'.
Since joining in November, North has mostly shared videos of her kitten, her braces and her three siblings. She did, however, land herself in hot water in December when she live-streamed a tour of Kim's home without permission.
But her father appears unhappy with North's social media presence and, on Saturday, went so far as to claim that she was on the app without his permission.
Kanye posted a screenshot of his daughter's latest TikTok video on his Instagram account, which he captioned, "SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?"

Kim claps back
That led Kim to clap back in her Instagram Stories, claiming that her ex has made it "impossible every step of the way" to co-parent with him.
"Kanye's constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create," she wrote.
"As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness."
The beauty mogul, who married the rapper in 2014, went on to slam his public attack. "Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye's obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.
"From the beginning I have wanted nothing but a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way."
Kanye returned fire by sharing a screenshot of Kim's message in order to question what she meant by 'main provider' and refer to an incident at their daughter Chicago's 4th birthday party.
The pair, formerly known as 'Kimye,' split in late 2020 after six years of marriage. Kim officially filed for divorce in February last year citing 'irreconcilable differences'.
Things seemed mildly cordial in late 2021 with Kim attending Kanye's concerts with their kids and Kanye accompanying Kim to her Saturday Night Live appearance in October.
Both parties have since moved on and started relationships with other famous faces. Kim and comedian Pete Davidson, 28, reconnected on Saturday Night Live and have been quietly dating ever since.
Kanye — who now goes by the monicker 'Ye' — recently coupled up with actor Julia Fox, 32, who shares a son with her ex-husband, Peter Artemiev.
