Kate Langbroek tries Kardashian's 'vampire facial'

It’s the beauty ritual that Kim Kardashian has raved about, and now Australian radio star Kate Langbroek has put the ‘vampire facial’ to the test.

Speaking on her KIIS FM drive-time radio show with Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes on Wednesday afternoon, the 51-year-old revealed she had around 20ml of blood extracted, before it was smothered across her face as part of the treatment.

“So they suck blood out of your veins and then throw it in your face?” Hughesy checked with his co-host.

The mother-of-four confirmed, before revealing: “You’ve got to go to a reputable doctor and luckily I found someone”.

Putting Dr Mikhail on the line, Kate then showed Hughesy the photos post-treatment.

And he was shocked!

“This looks like a horror movie,” Hughesy shrieked.

“This looks like a crime scene.”

“Dr Mikhail gave me an anesthetic so it wouldn’t be as painful and it made one of my eyes droopy,” Kate explained.

Then comparing her treatment to Kim’s, she admitted: “I ended up a lot bloodier than her”.

She then said to Dr Mikhail: “Remember at one point you said, ‘at this moment you look like road kill’”.

So what’s the benefit of doing all of this?

Explaining the treatment serves as a “collagen booster” and aids the “regeneration process”, Dr Mikhail said it will make Kate “look at least five years younger”.

Now we’ve just got to wait a few weeks to see Kate’s glowing results.
