Khloe Kardashian's cheating ex posts gushing tribute

They may have called it quits earlier this year, but NBA player Tristan Thompson is still clearly very fond of his ex-partner - and mother of his child - Khloe Kardashian.

The 28-year-old basketball star, who famously cheated on her, took to Instagram on Thursday to share an emotion-filled post in honour of Khloe’s birthday.

“You are the most beautiful human I have ever met inside and out,” Tristan gushed about his old flame, who turned 35 on June 27.

“Thank you for being an amazing mommy to our princess True. She is blessed to have someone like you to look up to,” he added.

“I wish you nothing but more success and sending you positive blessing your way,” the Canadian athlete signed off the heartfelt post.

Khloe has since liked the post, which features a happy-snap of herself and the pair’s daughter, True.

Separate ways

The celebrity couple split in early 2019 after it emerged he'd kissed model Jordyn Woods - Khloe’s younger sister’s best friend - at a party at his home.

The Tristan/Jordyn scandal marked his second act of infidelity in less than two years, after rumours that he’d been romantically linked to other women emerged while Khloe was nine months pregnant with True.

The Revenge Body star was reportedly devastated when Tristan’s most recent cheating ways came to light but the pair have remained committed to co-parenting their 14-month-old daughter.

The Good American designer apparently doesn't feel ready to start dating again - just yet.

"I don't ever feel like I need a man to feel solid. I feel really good, so I'm enjoying spending time with True and my family,” she explained.
