Khloé Kardashian Claimed That She Doesn’t Think It’s Right To “Publicize” Helping Those Less Fortunate For A “Pat On The Back,” And People Came With Receipts As They Accused Her Of Hypocrisy
Khloé Kardashian is being accused of double standards after she made a shady comment about Tokyo Toni on her Instagram post.
The whole saga started when Tokyo revealed that she was spending Thanksgiving cooking for people experiencing homelessness.
Meanwhile, over on her page, Khloé shared a selection of photos from her own lavish Thanksgiving with her family. She captioned the post: “❥ Thankful ❥"
But Khloé then followed up with a longer reply, which was widely interpreted to be subtle shade at Tokyo’s Instagram post.
As I’m sure you know, Khloé shot to fame by starring in her family’s various reality shows over the years — and many storylines in these shows strongly contradict the stance that she took in her reply.
While this episode was filmed a long time ago, Khloé revisited it in the final season of Keeping Up in 2021, where she was shown tracking Shorty down for a reunion.
The following year, in 2022, Khloé was filmed visiting Alexandria House — a nonprofit organization to help support women and children experiencing homelessness — for an episode of The Kardashians.
Khloé has also been repeatedly filmed helping those close to her when they have fallen on hard times, including supporting her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, amid his scary hospitalization after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel.
And just last year, Khloé was accused of exploiting her ex Tristan Thompson’s family’s trauma for a storyline on her reality show.
With all of this in mind, it’s perhaps unsurprising that when the popular Instagram account The Shade Room shared a screenshot of Khloé’s comment with their 29 million followers, she was immediately called out for hypocrisy.
Responding to Khloé’s claim that she doesn’t think it’s right to “publicize” when somebody has fallen “on hard times” for her “own personal pat on the back,” one person wrote: “Girl bye, YALL TOOK IN A HOMELESS MAN ON YALL SHOW, a whole episode showing what yall did for him.”
“Now Now Khloe, do you remember Shorty? The homeless man that you put on TV and took him home for bath and also the dentist ? ‘Shorty, the homeless man we adopted,’” somebody else asked.
Another echoed: “But didn’t they record a whole episode helping a homeless man 🤔 cameras all up and through his face.”
“I mean she felt the need to announce to the world that she’s taking care of Tristan special needs brother so what’s the difference???” one more noted.
Somebody else claimed: “Lamar was on their show damn near on his death bed 😒"
And another asked: “Don’t they constantly showcase themselves helping the less fortunate?! 😂😂😂😂😂”
Khloé has not publicly responded to these comments. What do you make of it all? Let me know below!
