Blue sea, white sand, sunshine peeping through clouds – and a happy couple pledging their love on a tropical beach in Bali.
It looked like a scene from Australia’s favourite 'Rhonda and Ketut' car insurance adverts.
But this time it was for real as Kadek Mahardika – who played the flirty waiter in those cheeky AAMI commercials – married his long-time partner in a romantic seaside ceremony.

"It was the best day ever," beamed the 31-year-old groom, who met bride Laura Jack at a mutual friend’s wedding in Melbourne four years ago.
"My very own romance! She’s lovely!"
The setting for his big day proved to be perfect – ‘even better than a sunrise’ – as torrential morning rain gave way to afternoon sun at Bali’s newest and hippest beachfront wedding
venue Watermark at Nusa Dua.

Despite the notorious flexibility of ‘Bali time’, no-one was late. Although Kadek seemed nervous, his acting experience pulled him through the day, which started with a Balinese welcoming dance performed by three gorgeous young relations.
"We wanted the wedding to be short and sweet, but it was so beautiful," laughed Laura.
"It was so romantic, because Kadek is the most romantic person ever."
