Before Kesha leaves, she still brushes her teeth with a bottle of Jack.

The pop star, 37, celebrated the 15-year anniversary of her chart-topping debut single "TiK ToK" on Aug. 7 by sharing a TikTok video of herself brushing her teeth with Jack Daniel's whiskey — in reference to the song's lyrics.

At the start of the clip, Kesha walks into the bathroom with a Spotify plaque commemorating 1 billion streams of her 2013 chart-topper "Timber" before cheekily exclaiming, "S---. Wrong one," and grabbing her nearly identical plaque marking 1 billion streams of "TiK ToK."

She then pours Jack Daniel's into the silver Spotify logo saucer on the plaque, dips her toothbrush in the whiskey and brushes her teeth, referencing the song's iconic first verse lyric: "Before I leave, brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack / 'Cause when I leave for the night, I ain't comin' back."

The video arrived after Kesha posted a heartfelt message about the creation and success of "TiK ToK," which spent nine weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 and has sold over eight million units in the U.S. since its 2009 release as the lead single from her first album, 2010's Animal.

"TiK ToK was the first single that I put into this world that had my voice AND my name credited!!!! I remember making it fun and happy because that’s how I felt and wanted others to feel," she wrote.

"What I’m so proud of is that’s how this song STILL makes me feel, through it all, and those are emotions I want all of us to connect to," continued Kesha. "15 (!!!!!!) years later, I see this song as a snapshot into the way I saw the world at the time. That girl was naïve and wild and playful. This song eternalizes a side of myself that I love very much, and now see I have to protect fiercely. The world has changed so much and so have I."

The musician then spoke in favor of changing the song's opening lyric — "Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy" — in the wake of Sean “Diddy” Combs' numerous sexual abuse allegations. Since joining Reneé Rapp on stage at Coachella in April to perform the song, she's altered the first line to say, "Wake up in the morning, like, 'F--- P. Diddy,'" at several concerts.

"I absolutely love the new lyric change. (Shout out to @reneerapp) Yes it is permanent," added Kesha. "I will re-record it when I have legal rights to!"

Her note concluded, "Now, my first baby stands for so much. It stands for fiercely protecting my fun and unadulterated joy, in myself and in others. The whole ride has been absolute insanity, but the JOY is still riding. I hope you all can find 3 1/2 minutes of play in this song and connect with your wild child-like joy."
