As Kelly Clarkson continues her hiatus from daytime TV, fans are enjoying who she's recruited to help host The Kelly Clarkson Show.
The singer and TV personality has been taking time off from working on her hit talk show, and folks have been concerned about what's causing her absence. In the meantime, NBC has brought in a number of celebrities to guest host The Kelly Clarkson Show, and one of them was none other than Brooke Shields. As she emcee'd the March 10 and March 11 episodes, she was excited to get out of her comfort zone and try something a bit different than what people may know her for.
"Welcome to The Kelly Clarkson Show — my name is Brooke Shields and I am filling in for Kelly again today," the Commence haircare founder began her monologue in a video posted on Instagram on March 11. "It is so nice to be here to host. Usually, I'm on talk shows to promote projects, like my latest book. But you know what?... I'm actually enjoying where I am in my life right now."
After Brooke's time on The Kelly Clarkson Show commenced, fans applauded her for how well she was able to guest host during Kelly's unexpected time off.
"I love her being a host," one person wrote in the comments. "You should definitely have your own talk show. You are just the most appealing person ❤️," another agreed. "@brookeshields is doing a FANTASTIC job in @kellyclarkson’s absence, but just know that Kelly’s fans are concerned at this point 🙏🏼," a different viewer noted.
Despite Kelly not being present on The Kelly Clarkson Show, it's nice to see how much people love Brooke taking over for a short stint! And given how she has had her own TV show back in the day (albeit it was in the form of the sitcoms Suddenly Susan and Lipstick Jungle), it wouldn't be too far off to potentially see Brooke on our screens in a more everyday manner.
Now, if only Brooke wasn't so busy with Commence and other projects... maybe we'll see her back on TV very soon?
