Here's The Story Behind Katy Perry Hiding Her C-Section Scar At Paris Fashion Week

Katy Perry is turning heads at Paris Fashion Week.

And plenty of KatyCats (sorry) have already been following the singer's eye-catching outfits during the festivities. There was this daring archival Noir Kei Ninomiya cutout dress she wore at Vogue World: Paris...

And this gown, which featured a reported 200 yards of train containing the lyrics to her forthcoming single "Woman's World."

While attending the Balenciaga Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024–2025 show earlier today, Katy debuted another iconic look: a big black coat, low-cut ripped nylons, and pretty much nothing else.

In an interview with Women's Wear Daily, Katy explained that her look for her first-ever Balenciaga show was intended to be "streamlined, sexy, sensual. Simple but chic."

She also revealed what the revealing look was tailored to hide — specifically, her c-section scar from giving birth to her child Daisy, who she shares with Orlando Bloom.

“I wanted to wear my nylon right above my c-section scar,” she explained. “That’s the lowest I was gonna go. Right there.”
