Katie Holmes Says She's 'So Grateful' for Daughter Suri as She Shares Photo of Her Sweet 46th Birthday Present

Katie Holmes is showing her appreciation for her daughter as she celebrates her 46th birthday.

On Wednesday, Dec. 18, the actress shared a snap to her Instagram Stories of a bouquet of purple roses. Over the image, she revealed that it was her and ex-husband Tom Cruise's 18-year-old daughter Suri who sent her the sweet birthday present.

"I am so grateful for all of my blessings 💕," Holmes wrote, adding, "especially my daughter 🌷."

Holmes also reposted her sister Nancy Blaylock's birthday message to her Instagram Stories. Blaylock wrote, "Happy Birthday to this incredible human. You bring joy and inspiration to everyone around you! Love you my dear sister."

Earlier this month, the proud mom shared a post on Instagram that publicly called out false reports regarding Suri's inheritance. One of the articles claimed that Tom, 62, was giving her a million-dollar trust fund that had "kicked in," which Holmes shared was "completely false."

"You can stop making stuff up," she wrote across the photo, adding, "Enough" in the caption.

The Alone Together actress previously celebrated her daughter's high school graduation in June. At the time, the two were photographed hugging and walking together following the milestone event.

Earlier that same month, the 18-year-old shared a rare TikTok in which she hinted at her post-high school plans. In the video, she celebrated "decision day" as she and a group of friends all showed off sweatshirts from the colleges they planned to attend in the fall. Suri was sporting a Carnegie Mellon sweatshirt.

Holmes and ex Cruise welcomed Suri in 2006. After nearly six years of marriage, the former couple split in 2012.
