Kate Middleton, who shared the happy news that she is now cancer-free back in September, has posted an intimate photo showing her life as a mom—not a working royal—taken by her youngest child, Prince Louis.

The atmospheric snap shows the Princess with her arms outstretched in a frosty forest, looking chic in a baker boy cap. It was taken by little Louis while the pair were out on a casual walk together, showing the Princess' off-duty life as a parent of three.

The pic was shared to commemorate World Cancer Day and was accompanied by a moving quote from Kate: "Don’t forget to nurture all that which lies beyond the disease."

The message and photo hit home with many, with one person writing in the comments in response, "A beautiful image and message ❤️ looks like Louis has got his mother’s love for photography 😍 a talented young boy!"

Kate signed the post off with a ‘C’ which stands for Catherine, her full first name.

Since being diagnosed with and treated for cancer, the future Queen has been candid with the public when sharing health updates and along with her husband, Prince William, has shared a few more behind-the-scenes glimpses into their family life. When updating that she was now finished with chemotherapy, for example, the royal household issued a short film showing clips of the Wales family having fun together in nature, including walking in a forest and on the beach.

It seems to be a deliberate choice that when opening up with the public about life out of the limelight, the Wales family prefers to keep the interior of their home still private.

It’s wonderful to see Prince Louis’ photo of his mother shared for such a poignant reason - and perhaps this is a sign of things to come and that Louis is taking after Kate, who has been known to capture many special royal family moments on camera herself.
