Kate Middleton, Prince George and Princess Charlotte Were Spotted Shopping in London
Every now and then, Kate Middleton and her children are seen out in England, living their lives like everyone else, and someone tells the tale on social media. Yesterday, another rare sighting was shared on Twitter. According to Hello!, Kate took her two older kids, seven-year-old Prince George and five-year-old Princess Charlotte, out shopping at stationery store Smiggle's Kings Road, London location.
The kids were apparently spending their own money and learning to budget. The family is back in London after spending time in their Norfolk country home, as George and Charlotte's classes begin again today at St Thomas's Battersea, their London school, following its Easter holiday.
Twitter user @lexif1980 shared details about the Smiggle sighting, writing, “I’ve always been a Kate Middleton fan ... today she was in one of my stores on the Kings Road with George and Charlotte, what the team told me about how she was with them and how the kids were with each other makes me like her even more!”
She added, “I wasn’t there but she talked to my team, the kids had a budget that they stuck to and paid for their own things with their own money. Just normal well brought up children and a normal parent trying to do the right thing and that’s just lovely!”
Kate and William share very limited photos and updates about their children, allowing George, Charlotte, and their younger brother Prince Louis, 2, to live relatively private lives as royals. But expect a little look into Louis and Charlotte's lives in the next week or so: Louis celebrates his third birthday on April 23 and Charlotte celebrates her sixth birthday on May 2. The family will likely release new portraits of Louis and Charlotte to mark the occasion.
