Kate Beckinsale, 46, strips off for racy Instagram pic

Kate Beckinsale has sent fans wild with a black and white photo she shared on Instagram, which shows her topless, wearing nothing but a pair of lacy bottoms.

The 46-year-old actress shared the classy snap with her 3.5 million followers, showing her getting her hair and makeup done, while covering her bare chest with her arms.

“Chase feels there’s a very good argument using anthropic reasoning to suggest we are living in a simulation,” The Underworld star wrote beside the snap.

“Italo says there’s no proof that it’s physically even feasible for a posthuman civilisation to create such a simulation. I can’t fathom why anyone would put tomato in a cheese toastie.”

Of course most people had no clue what Kate was talking about, remaining rather distracted by the sexy photo instead.

“Whatever it is you’re talking about, I like it,” fellow actress Jamie Winston commented.

“Kate, you are breathtakingly beautiful,” another fan wrote.

While a third added: “You look like a perfect doll. You are amazing.”

There was also heavy discussion around her point of never having tomato in a cheese toastie - we hear you Kate! But it seemed to have plenty of people confused, with a host even admitting they had never heard of a cheese toastie before.

“Ugh... tomato does NOT belong on grilled cheese,” one person said in agreement.

“Is a cheese toastie just a grilled cheese with a tomato in it?” a confused fan asked, before he and others received a helpful explanation of what it actually is.

“Don't knock it till you've tried it!” a third said.

It comes after Kate refused to leave her pets behind as she fled her Los Angeles home in the early hours due to spreading wildfires last week.

She thanked her friends for coming to her rescue when her neighbourhood was evacuated at 3AM, as she can’t drive and has four pets - including an epileptic cat - which she insisted on bringing with her.

“We are safe. Thank you so much to everyone who checked in,” she posted on Instagram.

“Sending love and hope to everyone else who walked out of their house at 3 am to this, love and admiration to the @losangelesfiredepartment and most of all to David and Dorothy who didn’t need to remember in the middle of the night that I can’t drive but did.

“And to everyone who has offered me a place to stay despite my rolling with four animals including an epileptic cat. Angel people . So grateful x”
