Karoline Leavitt, 27, Shares Rare Insight on Marriage With Husband, 59

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt recently opened up about the age-gap relationship with her husband, Nicholas Riccio.

On Jan. 20, 2025, Leavitt, 27, became the youngest white house press secretary under Donald Trump's second term. Naturally, many have been curious to learn more about Leavitt, whose passionate responses to questions from the press have made headlines.

Leavitt took to Instagram on March 16 to share a carousel of photos from her and Riccio's wedding day.

"Finally found some time to post a few of my favorite pictures from one of my favorite days! 😌🤍✨💍," she captioned the update.

In the comments, Leavitt's followers sent belated congratulations and well-wishes.

During a February appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show, Leavitt shared a rare insight on her age-gap marriage.

“He is my greatest supporter, he's my best friend and he's my rock,” she said of her husband. “He's built a very successful business himself so now he's fully supportive of me building my success in my career.”

Leavitt also dished on how she and Riccio met when she ran for Congress in New Hampshire in 2022.

“A mutual friend of ours hosted an event at a restaurant that he owns up in New Hampshire and invited my husband,” she recounted. “I was speaking. We met and we were acquainted as friends. And then we fell in love.”

In 2023, the couple got engaged. They welcomed their son, Nicholas Robert “Niko” Riccio, in July 2024 and said "I do" in January two weeks before President Trump's inauguration.
