He and wife Jasmine may be the subject of intensifying baby rumours, but Karl Stefanovic seems to have quite publically dropped the ball over the couple’s first wedding anniversary.
It’s been one year since Jasmine, née Yarbrough, and Karl tied the knot, and the pair have taken to social media with sweet snaps to commemorate the milestone, though one half seems to have mixed his dates.
The returning Today host and the Mara & Mine shoe designer wed in a lavish but intimate ceremony in Mexico’s San Jose del Cabo on December 8, last year, but it wasn’t until the 9th that Karl shared a public post.
Jasmine commemorated the special day with a selection of photos from the ceremony and reception on the actual anniversary date.
“Happy Anniversary my love! Such a beautiful journey with you,” she wrote alongside the stunning images.
“I’m so lucky to be navigating this world with you by my side. I love you.”
Karl plays catch up one day late
Karl played catch up with a selfie of the duo the following day, attaching a shorter, but still sweet message.
“Happy Anniversary love. Please don’t ever let go,” he captioned the snap which shows his wife wrapping her arms around his shoulders.
In an awkward twist, her husband’s Instagram post was the last in a series of congratulations shared by friends and fans online.
The anniversary comes after Jasmine raised eyebrows with a series of suggestive photos posted to her friends’ Instagrams over the weekend.
Pregnancy rumours abound
The pregnancy rumour mill went into overdrive after she was pictured cradling a ‘bump’ at dinner, with posts shared across social media including the words ‘baby shower’.
“I love baby showers,” was one caption on an image of Jasmine standing on the sidewalk in a big black puffer jacket. While another friend shared an image of the 34-year-old with her hand on her stomach, along with a love heart and baby emoji.
Another friend told The Daily Telegraph, “Jas and Karl are over the moon. They are very happy.”
With no confirmation yet ensuing from the pair, the rumours remain just that for the time being.
