Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough's wedding guest list

Having finally confirmed they're engaged, the next step for Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough is planning their wedding.

On Friday afternoon 43-year-old Today host Karl revealed the pair will tie the knot later this year, and no doubt their nuptials will be witnessed by those nearest and dearest.

After having made an entertaining speech at his younger brother Peter's wedding with Sylvia Jeffreys last year, it may very well be the case that Karl will ask his sibling to do the same for his second time at the altar.

And of course other members of the Today family will be a part of the celebrations.

Karl's new Today co-host Georgie Gardner, as well as entertainment guru Richard Wilkins are most likely to make the guest list.

In fact Richard or his son Christian would make popular choices as MC for the occasion.

While Lisa Wilkinson famously left the Channel Nine breakfast show towards the end of last year, she and Karl have insisted they've maintained a friendship, so it's probable to see the new The Project star at the wedding.

As for Jasmine's side, there's also some famous faces who could make up the bridal party.

Apart from her younger sister Jade, 34-year-old Jasmine is close to Australian models Montana Cox and Jordan Barrett.

She also attended British TV presenter and model Louise Roe's nuptials in 2016, so surely she'll return the favour and invite the UK celeb for the wedding Down Under.

On Friday Karl confirmed what we'd all been expecting - he and Jasmine are officially engaged.

The couple haven't got a date set as of yet but will 'probably' be tying the knot 'later this year', Karl told The Fix.

Karl announced his split from ex-wife of 21 years Cassandra Thorburn in September 2016.

They have three children together - Jackson, 18, Ava, 12, and 10-year-old River.

Shortly after Karl and Cassandra parted ways, he met Jasmine.
