Kamala Harris has been on a pantsuit streak while hitting the campaign trail – and her latest iteration is the epitome of fall corpcore. With just days to go until Election Day on Nov. 5, the Democratic presidential candidate served boss chic as she headed to Michigan alongside former first lady Michelle Obama.

Wearing a warm caramel-hued pantsuit, the vice president leaned into fall tones as she greeted the crowds at a rally in Kalamazoo on Saturday, Oct. 26. Harris’s latest power suit featured a trendy street style twist, thanks to a dual-sided zipper running along the front of the blazer. The collared jacket, which subtly exposed a black shirt she was wearing underneath, had padded shoulders and pockets with flaps and zippers towards the hem. The matching ankle-length slacks slightly tapered in at the bottom, showing off a pair of black pointy-toed leather heels.

Harris, who would become the first female president if elected, accessorized with a pair of large silver hoop earrings that complemented the hardware on her pantsuit. She wore her signature caramel-highlighted dark lob in a sleek, side-parted blowout with curls at the bottom. A mauve lipstick and black mascara added subtle glam to her campaign trail look.

The politician was joined by Obama, who made her first appearance at a Harris campaign event since speaking at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago over the summer. The former first lady, who wore a camouflage-inspired brown and black suit paired with a thick braid, spoke passionately in support of the Harris-Walz ticket.

Obama teared up as she spoke about the attacks on abortion rights and potential ramifications for women’s health care, telling the crowd, “If we don’t get this election right, your wife, your daughter, your mother, we as women will become collateral damage to your rage. So are you as men prepared to look into the eyes of the women and children you love and tell them you supported this assault on our safety?”

She continued, “I am asking y’all from the core of my being to take our lives seriously.”
