Kamala Harris going on the 'All the Smoke' podcast has NBA fans cracking jokes

Joe Biden on July 21, 2024 dropped out of the US presidential election and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party's new nominee, in a stunning move that upends an already extraordinary 2024 race for the White House. Biden, 81, said he was acting in the "best interest of my party and the country" by bowing to weeks of pressure after a disastrous June debate against Donald Trump stoked worries about his age and mental fitness. I know they're saying that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz need to do more interviews but, honestly, I'm not sure this is what anyone had in mind.

Harris is apparently doing the "All the Smoke" podcast. No, you are not mistaken. This is the NBA podcast hosted by Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson.

Yes, those two dive into topics outside of the NBA sometimes. But, uh, I'm not sure anyone thought they'd ever be going this outside the NBA. Harris recorded the podcast at some point on Tuesday with the two former Warriors players.

This is simply an incredible turn of events. I mean, what in the world are they going to talk about? What would we even want to know? Is Kamala Harris giving us her thoughts on the 2014-15 Warriors' death lineup and why it's the greatest lineup of all-time? Does she have opinions on RAPTOR as an advanced metric? Is the mid-range actually dead? Maybe she, too, believes that the ball does, in fact, lie.

Maybe we'll find that out. Fans had some incredible ideas of what they might talk about. Here are a few.
