Yahoo Lifestyle Juun.J Blows Things Out of Proportion for Fall 2025
Come colder months, all one needs for a striking silhouette is the right coat — and the fall Juun.J collection won’t contradict that idea.
Under the moniker “Coveruncover,” creative director Jung Wook-jun zoomed in on the contrast between the very oversized for outer layers and the short-and-skinny underneath. The waist was the boundary between his opposing pairs.

Leaning into his proclivity for voluminous outerwear, he gave parkas, utility jackets and denim blousons ballooning proportions. On longer items like glossy leather coats, keeping belts and adjusting ties at their original intended sizes created a peplum effect that added a touch of glamour.
These segued into pencil skirts and trousers that skimmed from the hips downward. Through a translator, Jung said after the show that he’d intended an impression of materials dripping down.
Later, denim silhouettes reprised this idea of melting, with oversized jeans slipping off on one side to reveal another pair — or double-breasted slim suits — worn underneath. These were a reminder, if needed, of Jung’s double forte in tailoring and garment construction.
Materials also came in contrasting pairs: the gloss of leather with non-animal furry shag, thick ribbed knits with stretchless cotton twill and even weaving a houndstooth pattern into pin-striped suiting.
In using all these materials for dramatic shapes, Jung said he’d wanted to show how to express a sensitive side from materials associated with all manners of uniforms — suits, workwear or military garb.
