Justin Timberlake will be in Europe during the scheduled court date related to his recent arrest for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

After the Grammy winner, 43, was pulled over and arrested on Long Island, New York, after leaving The American Hotel in Sag Harbor on June 18, his case is set to be addressed in court on July 26 — the same date as his Forget Tomorrow World Tour stop at the Tauron Arena in Kraków, Poland.

However, PEOPLE has learned the hearing will be virtual, and Timberlake's lawyer will attend rather than the "Mirrors" singer himself.

His arrest occurred in the morning on June 18 after he spent time "hanging out with friends" at The American Hotel, a source told PEOPLE at the time. "Nobody was hurt," added the insider.

Timberlake was charged with one count of DWI and two citations — one for running a stop sign and one for failure to keep in lane.

Police released a statement later in the day: "On June 18, 2024, at 12:37 AM, Justin R. Timberlake, age 43, of Tennessee, was observed operating a 2025 BMW southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his lane of travel."

The statement continued: "A traffic stop was initiated by a Police Officer from the Sag Harbor Village Police Department and upon investigation it was determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition."

According to his arrest report obtained by PEOPLE, the hitmaker told authorities, "I had one martini and I followed my friends home."

Following the traffic stop, cops noted that Timberlake's "eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests," per the arrest report.
