Justin Baldoni Has Romantic Spa Moment with Wife Emily in Aruba Following “It Ends With Us” Drama
“Wow, that made me tear up a little bit,” the actor said while showing off the special display that was set up in his hotel bathroom
Justin Baldoni was all about the romance during his recent island getaway.
The It Ends with Us director and star, 40, shared a glimpse of the fun-filled activities he got up to during his family trip to Aruba. Baldoni also offered a peek at the romantic spa moment he enjoyed with his wife Emily at their hotel in a video shared to his Instagram Stories on Sunday, Sept. 15.
“Wow, that made me tear up a little bit. So sweet,” Justin says in the clip as he pans over a bubble bath with “Baldoni” written on top in rose petals. “Look at this, they put so much work into it,” he adds, referring to the hotel staff.
As Emily marvels at the extravagant display, she echos, “So much work. They’ve got balloons and stuff.” Her husband continues to show off the candles, rose petals and balloons that spell out “Love” all over the suite's bathroom.
Justin notes to his wife, “We never really celebrated our anniversary, so happy anniversary too,” to which she responds, “I know. Happy anniversary baby.”

“Thank you @ritzcarltonaruba for all the extra love,” he writes over the video in white text, followed by a red heart emoji.
The pair, who have been married since 2013, also enjoyed the vacation with their two children — Maiya Grace, 8, and Maxwell Roland-Samuel, 6 — and another family.
In a carousel of photos shared to Instagram on Sunday, Sept. 15, Justin showed off some of the water sports he did with his kids, his friends and their children. In the shot, he has a big smile on his face as the group holds up their hands and flashes a few peace signs.
Also included in the mix is a shot of the Jane the Virgin alum and his wife cooling off in the serene, turquoise sea. Justin sticks out his tongue as he wades in the water, while Emily clings to his back and beams for the camera.
Justin tagged his friend Jamey Heath, who is CEO of Justin’s production company, Wayfarer Studios, which produced It Ends With Us. In one shot of the pair on the plane, Heath appears to be fast asleep while Justin leans in to make a funny face next to him.
“Aruba … you have our hearts. ❤️☀️🌊,” he captioned the post.

Justin’s vacation comes nearly a month after the highly-anticipated film premiered on Aug. 9. During the promotional tour for the movie, fans began buzzing on social media about rumors that there was a rift among its stars.
The film is an adaption of the Colleen Hoover novel of the same name. Amid the reports of behind-the-scenes drama, Baldoni spoke to Elle UK about the "friction."
“There are all these things that happen every day on set, there’s always friction that happens when you make a movie like this," he said. "Then at the end of the day, it’s that friction, I believe, that creates the beautiful art. Everything in life needs friction to grow."
He added, "We created something so beautiful and so magical, and it was hard, and it was worth it at the same time. And I grew so much as both a filmmaker, an actor and as a person throughout this experience."
Brandon Sklenar, who plays Atlas, also spoke up in an Instagram post on Aug. 20 to "address all this stuff swirling online."
"Colleen and the women of this cast stand for hope, perseverance, and for women choosing a better life for themselves," Sklenar wrote. "Vilifying the women who put so much of their heart and soul into making this film because they believe so strongly in its message seems counterproductive and detracts from what this film is about. It is, in fact, the opposite of the point.
