Jude Law, Jason Bateman Netflix Limited Series ‘Black Rabbit’ Adds Nearly a Dozen to Cast
The upcoming Netflix limited series “Black Rabbit” starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman is adding nearly a dozen actors to its cast.
In the series, “When the owner of a New York City hotspot (Law) allows his turbulent brother (Bateman) back in his life, he opens the door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he’s built,” per the official description.

Oscar winner Troy Kotsur will appear in the series regular role of Joe Mancuso, described as “a local bookie with ties to organized crime and to the brothers’ past.” Other new series regulars include: Abbey Lee as Anna, “a formidable NYC bartender;” Odessa Young as Gen, “an East Village tattoo artist with a connection to the brothers;” and Robin De Jesus as Tony, “a talented NY chef.”
In addition, seven actors have been added in recurring roles. They are: Amir Malaklou as Naveen, “an investor in Jake’s businesses;” Don Harvey as Matt, “an old school BK bartender;” Forrest Weber as Junior, “a hotheaded criminal;” Francis Benhamou as Lisa Klein, “a journalist with New York Magazine;” Gus Birney as Mel Whitney, “an aspiring actress and hostess;” John Ales as Jules Zablonski, “a renowned NY artist;” and Steve Witting as Andy, “a credit card processor and money lender.”
As previously announced, Cleopatra Coleman, Amaka Okafor, Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, and Dagmara Dominczyk will also star in the series.
Zach Baylin and Kate Susman created the series and serve as executive producers via Youngblood Pictures. Bateman will direct the first two episodes and executive produce along with Michael Costigan under their Aggregate Films banner. Law and Ben Jackson will executive produce via Riff Raff Entertainment. Andrew Hinderaker, Zac Frognowski, Justin Levy, David Bernon, and Erica Kay also executive produce. Aggregate Films is currently in a creative partnership with Netflix.
