Joshua Jackson Reveals the One Thing He'd Bring with Him If He Were Stranded on a Ship '“Castaway” Style' (Exclusive)
The actor caught up with PEOPLE at ABC's 'Doctor Odyssey' Premiere in Pacific Palisades on Sept. 18
Joshua Jackson knows exactly who he'd want to be stranded on a cruise ship with.
On Wednesday, Sept. 18, the actor, 46, chatted with PEOPLE at the Pacific Palisades premiere of his new medical drama series Doctor Odyssey, in which he plays a doctor aboard a luxury cruise ship called the Odyssey. Jackson had a sweet response when asked what one thing he would bring if he were stranded at sea.
"You're talking about Castaway style?" he joked.
"Well, I'd bring my daughter," he revealed to PEOPLE, referring to his 4-year-old daughter Juno Rose Diana, whom he shares with ex Jodie Turner-Smith.

While Juno isn't a fan of boats, the proud dad admitted, "I'd miss her if I was stuck on the boat. And I'd like to think she would miss me too."
On Sept. 15, the actor spoke with PEOPLE at the Walt Disney Company's Emmy Awards Celebration, where he shared how he has kept a fresh face over the years.
"I think it's chasing around a 4-year-old. I think that it keeps you young," he quipped. "The gray hair might tell you a little different," he jokingly added of his appearance.

But he also noted that happiness — and a difference in facial hair — might have something to do with his youthful look.
"I think it's just that I shaved, really," Jackson said. "I mean, I am happy. I'm very happy, but I think it's that I shaved. I think I look a lot younger without a full COVID beard."
He went on to discuss what he and Juno like to do together these days, "We're in a big Lion Kingphase right now, so that's good," he said. "And yeah, I mean, go to the park, sit at home, do arts and crafts.
"She's just awesome. She's just the most fun in the world," added the Dawson's Creek alum, who was present at the Emmys earlier in the evening to present the teen drama's executive producer Greg Berlanti with the Governor’s Award.
