Josh Gad wants a Frozen do-over.

During a recent interview at Fan Expo Canada, the 43-year-old actor admitted that if he could voice Olaf "all over again" he'd make one big change.

"I would not have lent that snowman my voice. I would've created a different voice," Gad said.

His reasoning? "It's very weird being in a supermarket and having a little child go like this," he continued, turning his head to the side slowly.

"That was my first big mistake," Gad said. "But, you know, people tell me I have a very unique voice. People seem to like my voice, so I try to give it to them when I can."

Gad has voiced the lovable snowman since 2013's Frozen, including in its 2019 sequel and various shorts in the popular Disney animated franchise.

The actor made an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark Tuesday, Sept. 17, where he discussed his new children's book PictureFace Lizzy and also revealed that he found out about the upcoming third and fourth Frozen movies while on vacation in Greece, after they were discussed at D23.

"All of a sudden, my phone’s blowing up. And people are like, ‘Oh my God, I’m so excited about Frozen 3 and Frozen 4.’ And I responded, '...So am I?’ I had no idea. Nobody thought to call us up and be like, ‘Oh, by the way, we’re doing two sequels to your movie(s).’ "

"But I have since heard some things about it, and it is going to be unbelievable," Gad added. "I’m so excited about what they’re dreaming up right now. It’s pretty incredible."

Disney CEO Bob Iger previously announced plans to have Elsa (Idina Menzel), Anna (Kristen Bell), and their friends return for Frozen 3 during a call with investors in February 2023.

The third installment will be released in theaters on Nov. 24, 2027, in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

While the storyline for Frozen 3 has been kept under wraps, Gad teased what's to come in the franchise during an appearance on The View in November 2023.

"I could share things with you, but Disney would literally escort me out of the building with armed security," joked the Book of Mormon alum. "No, apparently there are two Frozen sequels in development right now — surprise!"

"And I know Jennifer Lee, who wrote and directed the first two, is hard at work with the team right now," Gad added. "I’ve heard a little bit and I can tell you guys, it’s pretty mind-blowing what’s coming. It’s pretty exciting."
