'I'm out here hustling': Jordyn Woods' breakout project
Jordyn Woods is making a name for herself away from TV’s most popular family.
The 21-year-old model, who has regularly appeared in episodes of Keeping up with the Kardashians and Life of Kylie, is breaking away from the reality bubble and throwing herself into fashion design.
Having released a line with clothing label Boohoo three years ago, Jordyn is now back with a fresh new collection and launched it this week with a lavish party in New York.
Arriving at the launch in one of her designs and with her mum Elizabeth and little sister Jodie by her side, she told Yahoo Lifestyle the 60-piece collection is all about body positivity, creativity and confidence.
“Body positivity is the most important concept to me,” she said.
“We all have a different idea of what we consider body positivity but to me it is loving the skin you’re in and wanting to be the best version of yourself.”
The line, which is filled with bright colours and co-ordinated tops and bottoms including some power suits that really pack a punch, comes in sizes 6 to 20 – which was a passion point for Jordyn.
“It is important for my collection to be size inclusive because I believe that every body should feel included and be able to have cute trendy options,” she said.
The brunette beauty credits modelling with helping her “branch out and find my confidence” while fashion is her creative outlet.
“My fashion choices empower me by allowing me to channel some of my creativity through my wardrobe,” she said.
In the news
The launch comes the same week that Jordyn’s name was again pushed to the top of the news cycle thanks to KUWTK.
But Jordyn is brushing off the controversy, telling ET, “I definitely work very hard for a lot of the things that I have, and as you can see, I'm out here hustling, and I've always been working”.
