JoJo Siwa Breaks Her Silence After Fans Clock Her for $900 VIP Tour Tickets
JoJo Siwa is headed back on the road—and she’s giving superfans an unforgettable experience with the VIP offering for her latest tour.
On March 24, the Dance Moms alum announced the JoJo Siwa Live Tour, which reportedly offers a $900 Dream Guest VIP package that allows fans to curate the show’s set list and grants them backstage access while the crew sets up the stage. According to People, $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Dancers Against Cancer Charity, where JoJo serves as a board member.
At the GLAAD Media Awards on March 27, she explained the real reason for the VIP package’s price point during an interview with People.
“I would love to actually explain this for the people. We figured out how to do an experience that hasn't been done that often before,” JoJo told the magazine’s red carpet correspondent, explaining that fans can be involved in setting up the show’s stage “if they want.”
The “Karma” singer added that the Dream Guest VIPs will be able to choose what she does, receive a piece of memorabilia from the show that day, and take part in an exclusive backstage tour with her.
“I kind of explain it like you're my ‘that city’ bestie for the day. You’re gonna be hanging out, it’s gonna be fun. Like, we’ll probably order some pizza if you want some pizza. It’s just gonna be a ball. And then of course, you’ll get to watch soundcheck. We’ll do the normal Q&A, we’ll do meet and greet,” she said before clarifying that it isn’t necessarily a cash grab.
Upon seeing her initial announcement, some fans were outraged by the high price point and criticized the offering on social media. “Girl what kinda shit is that,” one person wrote, while another said, “So you basically pay to work?”

Others came to the star’s defense in People’s Instagram comments, writing, “I’m not a fan but doing all that with an artist you loooove for 900 bucks is pretty cool honestly.” Another person added, “Some artists do 1200 for just a meet and greet so this is so amazing. Never been a fan but I respect this. The fans who earned it deserve it.”
During her interview, JoJo addressed the backlash and explained that a limited number of fans would get to partake in the experience. “It’s super limited as well—we’re only doing four Dream Guest VIPs in every city,” she said. “So it’s not some sort of, like, let me get 50 of these and try to get a big buck off of this. I wanted to create a super exclusive, super intimate, diehard fan experience that only the, like biggest of the biggest super fans would want to have.”
Somewhere, a Siwanator is looking forward to becoming a Dream Guest VIP in their city...and we’ll be seated for the details.
