John Stamos’ High School Photo Has Fans Mistaking Him for '70s Idol

John Stamos was feeling nostalgic recently, taking a moment to share his high school senior photo with fans online, leaving many thinking the same thing.

The popular actor took to Instagram on March 14 to connect with fans and share the photo, writing in the caption, "Senior photo season 📸 (Class of ‘81)."

In the photo, the Full House star wore a bright smile along with a dark shirt with a wide collar and a light-colored jacket on top. He also rocked the classic '80s feathered layered haircut in a light brown color, a surprising contrast to his well-known dark hair.

Meanwhile, many of Stamos' fans couldn't help but draw comparisons between him and a popular star from the 1970s, Shaun Cassidy. The resemblance was hard to deny, with young Stamos sharing the same hairstyle and bright smile as the star back then.

Both Shaun and David were major stars throughout the 1970s, with the former releasing the popular album Shaun Cassidy in 1977 and starring in The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries from 1977 to 1979.
